Toyota is the most valuable car brand in the world

Toyota ranks first in cars most valuable brands, overtaking German giant BMW.

According to the ranking BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands; Toyota, Mercedes, Audi and Hyundai improved their values ​​in double-digit percentages, largely due to the huge demand in Chinese and North American markets.

The japanese brand in 2013 increased 12% to approximately 19 billion euros, largely because of the significant rise in the hybrid cars market. BMW dropped 2% to 18,650 million euros due to a lack of new products launches, compared to previous years.

Among the Germans, Mercedes increased 11% to 14,000 million euros and Audi rose 18% to a value of 4.27 billion euros.

In general terms, in the the first place of the Top 100 most valuable brands 2013 is, again, Apple valued at 144 billion euros, followed by Google (88.4 billion euros) and IBM 87 billion euros.

Ferrari confirmed that the Ferrari LaFerrari, the new hybrid Sports Car of the Italian brand, may have a version even more unique and lightweight.

Lamborghini shows Aventador LP720-4

This special edition, with production limited to 100 units, is proposed only in yellow Giallo Maggio (Maggio is Italian May, the month in which Lamborghini was founded, while Giallo means yellow, which was highly requested by customers at the time of the iconic Miura) and has several specific aerodynamic elements.

The interior follows the same chromatic pattern (yellow and black).
The mechanics are the same as the Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 with a V12 6.5 ie engine but with more 20 hp now 720 hp. The performances were not announced.

Dubai Police buy Lamborghini

More than  catching criminals, the intention of the Dubai police  is that the new Lamborghini show sophistication.

The latest car of the Dubai police , United Arab Emirates, is a $550  thousand  Lamborghini  Aventador.
The lambo, says the deputy police chief, intended to show tourists "how sophisticated is Dubai".

The new car will be used mostly in the more touristy areas of the emirate and not as much as might be supposed, in a high-speed police chase.
Remember that  Lamborghini  Aventador can achieve 350 km / h top speed and go from 0 to 100 km in 2.9 seconds.

New Porsche Panamera

Jaguar XJR

Cars CO2 reducing targets can create 400,000 jobs

VW unveils E-Up

That model will be shown officially at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September and will be available for order by the end of the year.

 The electric version of the Volkswagen Up! is equipped with a a 82 hp electric engine, powered by a battery pack placed on the floor. This engine provides the e-Up! with an acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 14 seconds and 135 km / h top speed.

The VW e-Up! autonomy is 150 km on a single charge and can recharge 80% of the battery in just half an hour.
