Developed by Walter De Silva, Head designer of Volkswagen Group,  The Lamborghini Egoista is a tribute to the 50th anniversary of Lamborghini. 

Single seater model with a 5.2 liter V10 engine that delivers 600 bhp of maximum power is now , permanently on display at the headquarters of the brand. First in the 'showroom' and then at the museum.

Ford 'launches' Mustang during the final of the Champions League

Ford will launch for the first time in 50 year history, the iconic Ford Mustang in Europe. Ford is since 1992 the official sponsor of the European Champions League, will take the end of May 24, 2014, at the Luz Stadium (Lisbon), between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, to make the model's launch campaign.

VW NMC

Volkswagen presented at the IAA in Beijing, China, a study that anticipates the future of the four-doors coupes of the German brand.

The VW NMC acronym for New Midsize Coupe is shorter in length than the VW Passat and Jetta and is based on a shortened derivation of the MQB platform. VW provides space for five occupants and 500 liters luggage .

The engine chosen for this study is the 2.0 TSI 220 hp mated to a dual-clutch seven-speed DSG gearbox. The VW NMC accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.5 it reaches 244 km / h top speed.

Audi Q4 concept car

Toyota fined 1.2 billion dollars by the U.S. justice

Toyota was fined 1.2 billion dollars by the U.S. authorities, a process that involves defects detected in 10 million cars of the brand. The penalty prevents the manufacturer go to trial.

The case dates back to early 2010, when 10 million cars were collected due to problems with the throttle cable. Quoted by Bloomberg, Attorney General Eric Holder explain that "Toyota will admit all responsibility, pay the fine and submit to a rigorous audit made by an independent entity."

The prosecutor also criticized the attitude of Toyota early in the collection process treating vehicles' an issue of public safety as if it were a simple case of public relations. "

Toyota has said it will assume all responsibilities for their actions. "We're back to the usual procedures at Toyota, for us to put our customers first," assured Christopher Reynolds, Toyota Ceo in a statement, quoted by Bloomberg.

Ssangyong XLV 7-passenger SUV

Chevrolet wins car and pick-up of the year in the U.S.

Chevrolet won the Car of the Year trophy and 'Pick-up' of the year in the U.S. with the new Corvette Stingray and the Chevrolet Silverado, respectively.

The winners were announced as usual at the opening of the Detroit Motor Show.

This is the first time since the award was created in 1994, that Chevrolet won in both categories.

 The award is voted  by 48 journalists. Have been in competition 11 cars and 12 pick-up.

Qoros 3 Sedan is the safest car tested in 2013

The European consortium of safety tests EuroNCAP elected Qoros 3 Sedan as the safest model in 2013.

This is the first time a Chinese car receives this distinction. The Qoros 3 Sedan was also the first car 'made in China' to win 5 stars, the highest score given by the consortium.

The Qoros 3 Sedan got the combination of the highest points of safety in both adults and children from all cars tested in 2013. Porsche 911 Carrera S 50th Anniversary Edition

The car will be launched in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show and as the original 911, the Porsche 911 50th Anniversary Edition is a coupe with a six-cylinder rear engine and rear wheel drive.

Toyota is the most valuable car brand in the world

Toyota ranks first in cars most valuable brands, overtaking German giant BMW.

According to the ranking BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands; Toyota, Mercedes, Audi and Hyundai improved their values ​​in double-digit percentages, largely due to the huge demand in Chinese and North American markets.

Ferrari LaFerrari super Sports Car

Ferrari confirmed that the Ferrari LaFerrari, the new hybrid Sports Car of the Italian brand, may have a version even more unique and lightweight.

This very limited edition, with production of less than a dozen cars, must weigh less than 1000 kg.

Lamborghini shows Aventador LP720-4

Lamborghini showed the first images of the Aventador LP720-4 "50 Anniversario" Edition, designed to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the Italian brand.

Dubai Police buy Lamborghini

More than  catching criminals, the intention of the Dubai police  is that the new Lamborghini show sophistication.

New Porsche Panamera

The Porsche Panamera has been updated for 2013, the result will be presented in the Hall of Shanghai, China.

Cars CO2 reducing targets can create 400,000 jobs

The cutting of CO2 emissions to 95g/km by 2020 for new autos proposed by the European Commission could lead to 400,000 new jobs and savings of millions of euros, says British study by consultants Cambridge Econometrics and Ricardo-AEA.
The new target for CO2 emissions is voted today, April 19, in the European Parliament.
According to the study, more efficient cars could mean savings between 57 to 79 billion euros per year in fuel costs. Could still generate between 356,000 and 443,000 new jobs by 2030.
