Chevrolet wins car and pick-up of the year in the U.S.

Chevrolet won the Car of the Year trophy and 'Pick-up' of the year in the U.S. with the new Corvette Stingray and the Chevrolet Silverado, respectively.

The winners were announced as usual at the opening of the Detroit Motor Show.

This is the first time since the award was created in 1994, that Chevrolet won in both categories.

 The award is voted  by 48 journalists. Have been in competition 11 cars and 12 pick-up.
